How can I get to Nikola-Lenivets?

We are situated in Kaluga region, Russia. You can go there by train or by bus, and you can also drive there by car. Here you can find the map and detailed instructions.

Where can I live?

We’ve built small houses, hostel “Kazarma” and arranged a camping-site for our guests. You can bring your own tent. If you decide to come up here for a weekend, you should book in advance. In the fall, we recommend staying in the hostel “Kazarma” which has central heating. Photos, prices, booking.

How can I move around the park?

We recommend leaving your car at the guarded parking-lot by the reception desk and rent a bicycle. You can bring your own bike (we have parkings for them as well). Please take into account that there is a speed limit in the park.

Where can I eat?

In the summer you can eat in Ugra cafe. Its cooks make fine cuisine amidst all those fields. A canteen is open in Nikola-Lenivets all-year-round; there you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, hot tea and be greeted by friendly staff. In a cafe “Kartoshkino” (in the nearby village Zvizhi) you can try rich home-made food.

What is there to see?

Nikola-Lenivets is located on the territory of a national park “Ugra”, amidst the most beautiful landscape of central Russia – meadows, rivers and fields. You can find 28 unique works of art there.  Maps with tourist routes are sold at the reception desk.

Can I organize an event in Nikola-Lenites?

Do you accept credit cards?

For accommodation, bicycle renting, parking, excursions and a bill in a cafe “Ugra” you can pay with your credit card. To pay for other services you may need cash. The nearest ATM is in Kondrovo (27 km from Nikola-Lenivets).
